Looking into CSS… Hmmm Testing Fliva

In the previous post I mentioned a theme called Southern Highlands, and directed you to the WordPress themes web site - cos for some reason I couldn’t see the rather OBVIOUS link there which pointed to the theme Author’s site…

Well since then, I DID actually SEE the direct link to the home of the Southern Highlands theme. Went to check it out and found some even MORE great themes I recommend you should look at.

And I’ve downloaded another really smooth theme from the great people there at Highlands by Design, mainly their Silver Lexis theme.

Essentially, it seems to be the same theme as Southern Highlands… just with the CSS and graphics changed - and THIS is the beauty about CSS! When you get it right, it’s just sooooo easy to make a couple of changes and create a totally new look!

I just love it, and have decided it might become the main theme for my Internet Marketing site as soon as I get a chance to fiddle with it a little and check it out there with that content wrapped around it.

I’ll probably make the content text slightly easier to read by making it a few shades of gray darker… but apart from that - probably not much else will need changing!

Well done Highlands by Design!

PS - Bowral, in the Southern Highlands of NSW, is a great place to visit if you’re ever in the vicinity… it’s just a couple of hours from Sydney heading towards Melbourne down the Hume Highway. Make sure you drop by and have a look.

PPS - No I don’t live there :) I live in the opposite direction about 4-5 hours north of Sydney on the Mid North Coast - in another, just as beautiful, part of the world called Laurieton (only 30 mins south of Port Macquarie)
